New Tampa Photography is a name synonymous with style and beauty. We were established in 1980 in Tallahassee, FL and moved to the Tampa area in 2003.
Our objective is to provide all of our clients with high-quality professional services. We believe that each client is unique, and all of our portraits reflect this. At New Tampa Photography we are committed to creating a friendly and communicative atmosphere at all of our shoots to ensure that the pictures we take reflect the true spirit of our clients.
About the Photographer
Keith L. Pope has a BS. degree in Graphic Arts from Florida A&M University and over 25 years experience in various areas professional photography. He has worked as a professional wedding photographer and as the Official Photographer for FAMU in Tallahassee, FL. He has also worked as an Senior Portrait photographer for Bryn-Alan Studios, Portrait Photographer for Olan Mills Studio, and photojournalist for the Capital Outlook Newspaper.
He has had photographs published in numerous major publications such as Newsweek, Time, Ebony, Jet, USA Today, and The Atlanta Journal, to name a few. He has traveled on photographic assignments to such places as Paris, France and Nassau, Bahamas.
He has had the fortunate opportunity to photograph such notable politicians as current President George W. Bush (#43), former President George H. Bush (#41), former President Bill Clinton (#42), former President Jimmy Carter (#39), former First lady Barbara Bush, and former First Lady Hillary Clinton. Also he has photographed celebrities such as Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Natalie Cole, Muhammad Ali, Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls), Wynton Marsalis, Stevie Wonder and Ed Bradley.
